I know, I know, the syllabus says nothing about quizzes. Add/Drop forms are available from the TA.
Captain TightPants pointed me over to this civics quiz, and unlike a lot of other quizzes I’ve taken, this one is actually about civics, not the latest topics in the headlines.
I got a 96.97% when I missed one. How did y’all do?

I'll take that. I think my poly-sci and philosophy profs would have been happy.

/ June 27, 2011I'm guessing the poli sci and history profs weren't present in their testing population. If they were, I fear for the Republic.

/ June 28, 2011I had a 90.91% after a 30 of 33 performance. I'm pretty sure I aced the history and government portions and botched a few of the econ questions.

/ June 28, 2011Julie, when you look at how poorly the site says that the average American does on that test, that's phenomenal. I'm really beginning to think 18 year olds ought to have to pass the citizenship test.

In my high school (circa 1982), the class was called “Civics and Economics”, and actually taught…civics and economics. Yes, I paid attention.
