Today’s Earworm

I’m in a bit of a strange mood, if you can’t tell.

Yesterday’s Earworm

Sorry, but I forgot to get this Flag Day earworm up, and the day got away from me.

Today’s Earworm

Boo’s been singing this for the past few days.  The boy knows the words and can actually carry the tune, sort of.

Damn you Walt Disney.

Today’s Earworm

I’m feeling a bit whimsical today.

So here’s a song sung by a dead heroin addict.  Enjoy!

Today’s Earworm

This one is dedicated to the pilot of my flight home last night, who made the 90 minute flight from Baltimore to Louisville in about 70 minutes to make up time after a delay on departure.

Today’s Earworm

Since my day started out with a torrential rain storm, forgetting my umbrella, a 1/2 mile walk from the parking lot to the door to the building, a dead phone, and a series of phone calls from customers with their hair on fire, this song has been going round and round in my melon.

On another note, not having your music to listen to while working in a cube farm makes earworms that much worse, since it’s the only thing you have to listen to.

Today’s Earworm

Yeah, I know, it’s the Dixie Chicks.  But I’m a sucker for a good torch song.  And their music is closer to the country music I listened to growing up than most of the people at the CMA’s.

Today’s Earworm

Today it’s a whole bunch of earworms.  Boo and I watched Sesame Street this morning at the doctor’s office while we waited for his turn, and several songs from my childhood were featured.

First, one about one of the most interesting looking animals:

Elmo’s a hack:

Notice that this one mentioned cigars, and no reports of children’s heads exploding were registered in the mid-1970’s:

And of course, you can’t do a Sesame Street music DVD without this one:
