To use an analogy, the original Lilo and Stitch, as a meme, would be a hand-drawn and lettered piece of art that would bring both a chuckle and a tear to the eyes of children and parents alike.
The 2025 live action remake is like the meme above, something that I thought would be cute, but threw together with mimimal effort and little attention to detail.
And that’s about all I have to say about that.

/ May 26, 2025Honestly, if they haven’t seen and enjoyed the original, they will like this.
It’s not a bad movie. The CGI was pretty good, definitely better than what I saw of the new Snow White. The child actor was good for what she was supposed to be – a rambunctious little girl.
I just didn’t care for what Disney did to the story to make this remake.
Better to watch a DVD of the original and make popcorn at home.
