    When I did engineering, I was told by someone with many years of experience.

    “There is no such thing as “idiot proof”….period. Do try tho make things “idiot resistant”, but you cannot make them “idiot proof”….some people could fuck up an anvil if you left them naked with it.

    I think a better lesson is that anything that is, to any serious degree, idiot-proof will be so unwieldy as to be useless.
