One that would have been good was “Cup of rice” from “Sand Pebbles” with Steve McQueen. The phrase was used to describe a persons job, they had to do the job in order to eat. When Steve McQueen character was going to do something, he was told ” No you can’t do that…if you do so and so don’t get their cup of rice.”
