What is good in life? To come to work, to sit at your desk, and to hear the lamentation of the Kentucky fans.
You can bluster at me all you want, but if it’s your people that are the reason we’re standing around for two hours, I’m not going to feel bad for you.
There are parts of every job that you are shocked they have to pay people to get done. Today, I did not do those parts of my job.
Paul McCartney is going to be playing a concert in Louisville soon. I am a lifelong fan of his. I would dearly like to go to this concert. However, two tickets, parking, and dinner for Irish Woman and me would cost almost as much as two car payments.
- Damn all those years of learning from bad decisions and my sense of personal responsibility!
Irish Woman didn’t fall for it when I tried to cover not telling her about tonight’s Friends of the NRA meeting by inviting her to dinner at the same restaurant as the meeting.
