- For once, going to pay the taxes on our vehicles and get new license plate tags was a pleasant experience.
- The line moved quickly and efficiently, the lady who took my check and gave me new stickers was pleasant and friendly, and I was actually in a good mood when I left.

- Unfortunately, “76254R” was already taken for a personalized plate, so I went with “DDYBAR”.
- We met Freiheit and his family at the zoo on Saturday, and had a wonderful time with them.
- I’ve forgotten how cute toddlers can be.
- I have discovered a new favorite bourbon, and of course, it’s $40+ a bottle.
- Irish Woman donated a photography package to a charity auction last night, and it went for almost $300. She was quite excited about that.
- The auction raised over $13,000 in total, which is pretty good for the first time the event was held.
- Interacting with all of Boo’s teachers last night told me one thing – we have a very good looking young man. All of the teachers talked about how pretty his eyes are.
- I’m going to have to keep an eye on that boy.
- When you do something particularly crappy for a small child that’s not your own, you sometimes ask yourself “Where are her parents?”. When you do something particularly crappy for an old person that’s not one of yours, you sometimes ask yourself “Where are her children?”.
- My local department store had no .22 shells in stock, but it did have six boxes of .50 BMG, which is nice.
- Got to have your priorities in manufacturing, I guess.
