- I started to write a Minivandian story called “Dinner with the Eloi“, but erased it when it seemed to be getting more and more bitter and spiteful.
- I bought four more pints of dry blueberry wine at the farmer’s market this morning. Some might call this a lot, but I look at it as an occasional anti-oxidant fortification.
- The quest for a new vehicle is over. Now I just have to turn in the rental car and finish physical therapy and all of this will be behind me.
- There probably won’t be any lawsuit. The guy who hit me didn’t have insurance and was out on parole. Something tells me it wouldn’t be worth the time.
- Giving Boo cotton candy might have been a slight mistake.
- Tomorrow I’m going to make my final batch of pickles for the year and probably harvest enough tomatoes to do a batch of chili fixings.
- Girlie Bear learned today that wearing sun screen means you should use sun screen to cover every square centimeter of exposed skin. It looks like she has some weird red tattoo on her neck after spending six hours out at a car wash today.

/ August 31, 2013No, no, no….you have to hang a law suit on the guy. You gonna let the bum go free!?!?!?! He has to be adjudicated to be wrong. How else is he going to learn. Of course you won’t “get” anything BUT you will lay an important life lesson on the shmuck.

/ September 2, 2013Oh, he’s not getting off free on this one. From the police report I got his name and address, and from that I found his criminal record. He was on parole for about 2 months at the time of the accident, ran from the accident, and hid from police when they came looking for him. My guess is that he won’t be walking around free for a while.

/ September 1, 2013Yeah, by default he gets off… sad but pretty much true, all you’d do is waste time and raise your BP. Re the sunscreen, you ‘can’ have fun with that on occasion… 🙂

/ September 7, 2013Hubby once used the spray-on sunscreen…while standing on the beach…on a windy day…in Florida. He came home looking like a red and white zebra.
