Puppy Pictures

OK, can’t help myself.  Going to have to put up some cute puppy pictures.  Irish Woman is getting quite a few really good pics of Moonshine*, and I thought I’d share.

He fell asleep almost as soon as I handed him to Irish Woman when we picked him up

This was the only way he would relax on the drive home. Of course, once the puppy fell asleep, so did Boo.

Bluegrass has been very accepting of the little guy. Shadow isn’t so sure about this whole thing, but he’ll come around eventually.

*Yes, we have dogs named Bluegrass and Moonshine.  Hey, it’s Kentucky.

He is fuzzy, playful, and spoiled rotten.  But I’m pretty sure he was that way when we got him.  The family we got him from has 10 children, so I’m guessing the puppies got passed from kid to kid to kid.  He’s six weeks old, and is still very careful to stay where he can see us.  We’re working on crate training, but the older dogs get very upset when he starts crying in the kennel, and they make a heck of a lot more noise than he does.

Oh well, if it wasn’t madness around here, it would get boring pretty quick.

Ok, there is absolutely nothing in the world cuter than a Lab puppy. Lu keeps me on a very short leash whenever we have one in the house. A result of the infamous Monterey Rec Trail female mobbing scene that is best left undiscussed.

Congratulations DaddyBear. That boy looks like a keeper. An awfully big one. If he’s that size at 6 weeks, look out.

How cute! If Small Fry wasn’t so scared of anything that barks (regardless of size), and Hubby wasn’t so dogs-are-a-nuisance-when-you-have-to-go-away, I’d be lobbying for one. As it is, I have to keep myself from lobbying for a new kitten.
