My Take – I would rather have someone I respect shake my hand and tell me I did a good job than for my work to be published and publicized. Knowing that someone who understands what I do and what it takes to do it appreciates it means more than any accolade.

/ September 24, 2012Sincere praise from people I trust and admire; yeah I’ll take that any day over the fake well wishes of strangers.
Some of the highest praise I’ve received was along the lines of “Couldn’t have done better myself” from people who I consider to be experts in the subject.
