You know something’s going right in that whole parenting thing when your daughter wants to join JROTC next year so that she can be on the school air rifle team.

    Air rifles. Why, back in my day, we drilled with M14s and shot Remington 513Ts and 40Xs!

    And you just have to arrange that any boys she brings home arrive as you are cleaning your ARs. Either you'll scare 'em off, or they'll lose interest in her and want to check out the gun collection…

    Drang, I'll be cleaning the Mosin and the Garand. If they geek out about that, then I'll know they're worth letting the daughter at least talk to.
